Council’s popular Experience the World major event series returns in September 2026 with the award-winning Primavera Latin American Festival. Following three successful years, Primavera will launch its next chapter at Liverpool Powerhouse, welcoming the spring season. Building on the success of recent events including Lanterns and Lights 2026, the festival will further establish the Powerhouse as a vibrant destination for outdoor community events.

The festival will feature market and food stalls, showcasing a range of Latin American flavours and products, alongside live music, interactive workshops, family-friendly activities and cultural performances such as Brazilian Samaba dancers and a Mariachi band.

The festival will showcase cultural and culinary offerings from across the Latin American region, including:
